Architectural plans print on our Canon Colorado UV roll press, which handles paper widths up to 60 inches with photographic-quality colour and razor-sharp linework. Standard bond, translucent vellum, and satin-photo stocks are stocked; other paper weights on request. We accept PDF, TIFF, and JPG plot files. DWG needs to be flattened to PDF first. Same-day turnaround is normal on plan sets in by 11am.

How much does blueprint printing cost in Montreal?

Blueprint and plan printing at CDM Print starts at $1.20 per 18 x 24 inch sheet, $2.40 for 24 x 36, and $4.80 for 36 x 48, with the per-sheet price dropping as the sheet count rises. Wide-format plans print up to 60 inches wide on our Canon Colorado.

How do you prepare a file for blueprint printing?

Set your drawing to the exact sheet size and final plot scale before you export it, so the print comes out to scale without resampling. Flatten the drawing so linework and text render exactly as drawn, and keep fine lines at a weight heavy enough to stay legible once the sheet prints at full size.

Both. Full-colour rendered plans and site plans print on our Canon Colorado. Black-and-white blueprints and construction sets can also be produced at reduced cost.

20-lb bond (standard construction plans), translucent vellum (for markup or overlay), and 8-mil photo satin (for presentation plans and portfolio prints). Other stocks on request.

PDF is preferred and produces the best output. TIFF, JPG, and multi-page PDF plan sets are all accepted. DWG or DXF should be flattened to PDF first; we cannot open native CAD files directly.

Standard sets are same-day if the file is in by 11am ET, otherwise 1 to 2 business days.
