Banners (Outdoor / Indoor)
Standard Sizes
Banners print on our Canon Colorado UV roll press for outdoor durability or our HP Latex 365 for indoor work. Choose 13 oz vinyl, the everyday standard, or 18 oz opaque vinyl, which is heavier and blocks light from behind; banners 48 inches wide and up print on the 18 oz. Sizes run from 18 x 24 inches to 60 x 96 inches. Grommets are chosen when you order, depending on the size: none, the corners, or spaced every 18 inches or 2 feet along the edges.

How do you design an effective banner?
An effective banner uses one short message, strong contrast between text and background, and large lettering: the rule of thumb is 1 inch of letter height for every 10 feet of viewing distance. Send vector logos and 300 dpi artwork at final size; our prepress team checks every banner file before printing.
How much does banner printing cost in Montreal?
Banner printing at CDMPrint starts at $30 for an 18 x 24 inch full-colour banner. A single 4 x 8 foot banner costs $160, and unit prices drop by more than half on quantity runs.
What file format do you need for a large banner?
A print-ready PDF at 300 dpi with 1/8 inch bleed works best; AI, EPS and TIFF files are also accepted. Keep logos and text as vector artwork where possible so edges stay sharp at banner sizes.
