Bookmarks print on our Xerox Versant digital colour press for sharp text and vivid colour on short-to-medium runs. Standard 14-pt and 16-pt stocks in matte, gloss, silk, or uncoated, sized 2 by 6, 2 by 7, or custom. Straight-edge bookmarks are guillotine-cut for clean edges; rounded corners and custom die-cut shapes go through our Colex SharpCut flatbed cutter. For added durability, our Matrix Laminator adds gloss or matte (soft-touch) lamination that stands up to daily reading.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our common sizes are 2 by 6 inches and 2 by 7 inches, printed vertically. We also handle 2 by 8 for longer designs and shorter square-ish shapes. Custom sizes are available on request; send us your dimensions and we'll confirm the cutting layout.

Yes. Rounded corners are a common add-on and use our Colex SharpCut flatbed cutter. Custom die-cut shapes, like a leaf, arrow, or animal silhouette, are also handled on the SharpCut. Send a vector outline of your shape and we'll price the cut.

We laminate on our Matrix Laminator in gloss or matte, and the matte is a soft-touch finish. Lamination is recommended for bookmarks that see heavy use, since it resists finger oils, tearing, and slight water exposure. The soft-touch matte gives a premium velvety feel that pairs well with foil or spot accents.

14-pt is our most popular for bookmarks: rigid enough to hold a spot in a book without curling, still slim enough not to bulk up the pages. 16-pt gives a more premium hand-feel for promotional or corporate gifting. Uncoated stocks let readers write notes on the back.

Yes, we can drill a hole near the top of the bookmark to the diameter you need. Tassels aren't stocked in-house, so we leave assembly to you or refer you to a supplier for bulk orders. Confirm the hole placement on your artwork before sending.
